Join Friends of Kootenay Lake Stewardship Society for our 3rd Annual Cottonwood Creek Cleanup in celebration of BC Rivers Day! We’ll be cleaning up Cottonwood Creek starting from Kootenay Lake and working upstream.

Lakeside Walk Bridge, just before the Recycling DepotTo prepare:
Wear sturdy, weather-appropriate clothing and rubber boots as some of the cleanup will be in the stream
Bring water and any other personal items you may need
We’ll provide snacks and refreshments!
We’ll also have a limited supply of garbage pickers, gloves, and buckets, so please bring your own cleanup supplies if you have them
