Harrop Field Day: Deer Fencing

Join us to continue our management at Harrop Wetlands! ✨We’ll be installing protective fencing around emerging shrubs and this season’s invasive species treatment areas.
This is a great way to get hands-on with restoration work, learn about wetland ecology, and help protect this vital habitat! We’ll also be preforming a short species survey of the wetland post work day for anyone interested in learning about our process!
Limited snacks, bublys, and stickers for everyone that joins.
Meeting location: Harrop Wetlands trailhead – just before Sunshine Bay Riding Club off Erindale Road in Harrop.
Time: 10 AM – 12 AM
What to bring: Sun protection, water and snacks, 
Dress in layers! It should be nice out, but come prepared for changing conditions.
Open to all community members! No experience needed—just a willingness to get involved and get your hands dirty.Please respond to our Facebook event to let us know you’re coming- drop-ins are also encouraged. To save time on the day, we recommend signing our online waiver beforehand:
