An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Monday, repeating until February 28, 2022

Join Ktunaxa language instructors Alfred Joseph and Mara Nelson for this winter learning journey to deepen your ability to understand and use the Ktunaxa language.

  • 12 x 90 minute virtual learning sessions (Zoom-based)
  • $180 for all 12 sessions ($15/session)
  • $155 CBEEN members ($12.50/session)
  • Mondays at 7:00pm Mountain Time:
    • Nov 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
    • Dec 6, 13 (optional)
    • Jan 10, 17, 24, 31
    • Feb 7, 14, 28

  3. Why each place is named what it is
  4. Common classroom phrases
  5. Things around the town/community
  6. Plant names
  7. Animal names
  8. Colors
  9. Numbers
  10. Family relationships
  11. Common expressions
  12. Calendar- seasons, months, days of the week
