One event on April 28, 2021 at 6:30 pm

The RDCK is currently reviewing the Environmental Development Permit Areas around Kootenay Lake. In support of this project, they are hosting online workshops to talk about Riparian Areas around Kootenay Lake and hear about the things that matter most to residents about Kootenay Lake.

The workshops will cover:

· General information on Riparian Areas, what they are and why they are important

· Current RDCK permitting requirements around Kootenay Lake (Development Permits)

· Discussing the values that we have for Kootenay Lake and any concerns related to the Lake

If you are interested, there will be two opportunities to attend online through the Webex platform:

Tuesday, April 27th, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00PM; and

Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 from 6:30 – 8:30PM

The goal is to provide attendees with more information on Riparian Areas to raise awareness for shoreline stewardship around Kootenay Lake while gathering information on community values regarding the future of Kootenay Lake.

The RDCK encourages anyone interested to attend.

Information on how to attend can be found on the RDCK website.

You can also download the poster below.

Please also feel free to forward this invite along to anyone else you think may be interested in attending.
