An event every week that begins at 3:00 pm on Sunday, repeating until November 15, 2020
Join the Nelson – West Kootenay chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL), Sustainable Selkirk and the Mir Centre for Peace in a series of local events featuring talks from both local and global climate champions as part of the global Countdown launch.
The goal of Countdown, in partnership with TED, is to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action.
3 sessions, 3 different themes, 3 Sundays.
Events are from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. November 1st, 8th and 15th.
