Winter Wildlife Activities for All Ages

Free 1 Hour Virtual Workshop! Tues, Jan 20 at 4pm Pacific / 7pm Eastern Time

Learning outside in Winter can be just wonderful! Join Jacob and Dave as they share the possibilities for learning about and with wildlife in Winter. Learn to investigate the world using all your senses and follow the mystery and intrigue of animal tracks and traces. Sharing about wildlife with students, offering experiential activities opens the possibilities for cross curricular academic success all whilst having the most FUN!

Facilitators
  • Dave Quinn is a Kimberley-based outdoor educator, certified teacher, and wildlife biologist who has worked with grizzly, lynx, fisher, badger, mountain caribou and other local threatened and endangered species throughout the Kootenays. Dave has been designing and delivering place-based education programs that help connect people to the wild around them for over 30 years. He and his family are honoured to live in Ktunaxa ?ama?kis.

 

 

All registrants will be able to access the recording, in case you can’t join us live. And all attendees will be able to access a Certificate of Attendance and will be entered to win some great prizes!
