From shoreline cleanups and habitat restoration, to community science, education, and watershed protection, Friends of Kootenay Lake works year-round to keep the lake healthy and resilient. But we can’t do it without you.
Our Giving Tuesday goal is $1,000, and every donation, big or small, directly supports hands-on stewardship projects and community programs that make a real difference.
Your gift will help us:
- Restore critical shoreline and wetland habitat, like our ongoing Harrop Wetland Restoration work.
- Support monitoring programs that protect wildlife, such as our osprey monitoring program
- Create educational opportunities for youth and community members
- Advocate for a cleaner, healthier Kootenay Lake for generations to come
