The 2018 Friends of Kootenay Lake Summit was a complete success!
The Summit took place on November 3, 2018 at J.V. Humphries School in Kaslo from 5-9pm.
The theme of this years Summit was the History of Kootenay Lake and we had a range of great presenters from both local environmental organizations such as; Kootenay Lake Local Conservation Fund, North Kootenay Lake Water Monitoring Project and Central Kootenay Invasive Species Soceity, alongside locals such as Luanne Armstrong and Michael Cone who presented on the history of Kootenay Lake from a personal and transportation perspective.
We were able to reach almost 120 people at this years Summit which is one of our greatest audiences to date.
