Submit photos of your beach cleanup activities around Kootenay Lake for a chance to win one of eight local prizes courtesy of Trails for Creston Valley Society
You can enter the contest through social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) or through email!
How to enter the contest:
Tag Friends of Kootenay Lake in your social media post(s) and use the hashtag #KootenayLakeCleanup2021
or,
email your photos to info@friendsofkootenaylake.ca
Be sure to include the date, location and a description of your cleanup activities in your submission.
The contest ends on April 30th at 11:59 PM.
You can participate in the contest by cleaning up shorelines anywhere within the Kootenay Lake Basin, but this contest is perfectly paired with our April East Shore Cleanup!
What kinds of photos are we looking for?
You can submit any kind of photo, but here are some photo ideas that could help you make the winning cut!
- Before and after photos
- A photo of you/your pod standing with the bagged garbage you cleaned OR in the act of cleaning garbage
- A photo collage of cleanup highlights
