For those wondering what is going on at the Balfour Kootenay Lake Ferry Terminal, we are providing an update we received on the construction project.
Work on the Kootenay Lake Ferry Service Improvements Project is moving forward steadily and is on track to delivering the important safety enhancements planned. Currently, a site is being built where construction of a new, larger vessel will take place. The new ferry is expected to be finished in 2023.
