The 26th Annual Secchi Dip-in

The 26th Annual Secchi Dip-in

Join the many lake lovers around BC who are strapping their life jackets on and helping to gather important data on lake turbidity!

Since 2010, there has been a 47% decline in the number of lakes with Secchi depth readings collected during the BC Secchi Dip-In. This is concerning as long-term trends are important indicators of the changes a lake is experiencing. These long-term data sets are very valuable. Please consider participating in the Dip-In so that we can increase the number of lakes with data.
