The Friends of Kootenay Lake are working with Reel Adventures to monitor water quality in the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. There are three stations (by Kokanne Creek, 5 mile narrows, and just downstream of Nelson) that will be monitored for nutrients, fecal coliform, temperature, dissolved oxygen, water clairity, and chloropyhll A.
