This summer Kootenay Conservation Partnership (KCP) launched its Stewardship Solutions Online Toolkit
The toolkit is a great resource for landowners and land managers who wanted to pursue stewardship on private land. An interactive map of the Kootenays allows you to click on your area and see listed organizations that operate in various stewardship sectors
These local organizations may offer information, tools, incentives, services, learning opportunities, and/or funding for stewardship activities. They focus on such topics as wildlife, species at risk, invasive plants, water quantity and quality, forest and grassland ecology, fire interface management, and habitat restoration to name a few.
